Lovely yarn but difficult to knit with, if you make a mistake you have to go back stitch by stitch, you can't take it off the needles to undo, it is so fluffy. It suited the vintage pattern I am using and knits up well, soft and fluffy. the colour is lovely and it was priced well. Communication re extra balls was poor, I was trying to get a match to what I already had. Hopefully I can use the extra on the sleeves and it won't be noticed. If ordering make sure you have enough initially.

How many balls of Gazzal Teddy for a cardigan?

Plan on about 8–10 balls for an adult cardigan in size M. Sport-weight cardigans usually take 1,200–1,500 m, and each 50 g ball has 150 m, so 1,200–1,500 m ÷ 150 m gives 8–10 balls. A child's cardigan typically needs 3–5 balls, depending on age and sleeve length.

Is Gazzal Teddy itchy?

Most people find it soft enough to wear next to the skin. The wool share is superwash merino, a fine, soft grade, and the rest is polyamide. Very sensitive skin may still react to a textured surface at the neck, so hold a swatch against your neck first or choose a wider neckline.

Gazzal Teddy vs Gazzal Merino Boucle: what is the difference?

Teddy is a fine sport-weight blend of 40% merino and 60% polyamide, 150 m per 50 g on 3 mm needles. Gazzal Merino Boucle is 100% merino at bulky weight, 120 m per 100 g on 7–8 mm needles. Choose Teddy for lighter cardigans and kids' wear, and Merino Boucle for chunky jackets, cowls and cushions that grow fast.

Can you crochet with Gazzal Teddy?

Yes, it crochets well on the 2.5–3 mm hook given on the label. Keep the stitch pattern simple, such as single crochet, half double crochet or moss stitch, because the textured surface blurs lace and post stitches. Let the yarn create the texture and put your effort into a good fit.
